Sue Pryke

Sue makes functional slipcast ceramics. She uses porcelain which is stained giving a dense colour throughout the pot, the surfaces are hand polished to give a tactile stone like quality with a contrasting glossy interior glaze.

Her inspiration is drawn from industrial ceramics which she pares back revealing a calm contemporary presence.
