Katie Braida

Katie makes hand built, earthenware, vessels and forms. The work has subtley textured surfaces, and a depth of colour achieved through layering of a variety of materials. The pieces retain a softness and tactile quality that invites interaction.  She takes inspiration from working with the clay and discovering the patterns and rhythms of the natural and man made environment.
