I’ve always loved robots, especially the robots from the movies of my childhood and I’ve always loved the medium of clay. So it made sense to make them out of clay.

My ceramic robots are handmade using slabs and extrusions. I decorate and texture them with found and made objects. They are then fired in a variety of kilns to stoneware temperatures. Some of them are happy and some of them sad, but all of them are awesome.
