All of my work is manipulated combining varied techniques while wet in an attempt to capture the soft organic quality of the clay and preserve that softness in the finished piece. It is slip decorated before being fired and soda vapour glazed in a wood/gas fired kiln. This emphasised the marks and rhythms of the making. Nothing is hidden.
