I make thrown and hand built porcelain vessels inspired by the sea, water and stone. The unique qualities of the material are synonymous with that of water – fluidity, softness and translucency. Using and handling the pieces is central to my practice. I strive to achieve a spontaneous, tactile response between person and pot. I want the pots to have a life in people’s homes, to bring calm and an awareness of the fragility of time.
