Oxford Ceramics Fair
31 October - 1 November 2026
St Edward's School, OXFORD, OX2 7NN
A figurative artist who specialises in ceramic sculpture directly inspired by the woodland where she often explores places in which to ‘breathe’. Sharon uses the human figure to help communicate a sense of deeper meaning within humankind and of her own experience of being a woman. The sculptures represent a state of being; internal struggles of love, loss, displacement, vulnerability and strength.
The work is slab-built using a variety of stoneware clays with layers of slips, found oxides and glaze, which is then once fired using an electric kiln.
Sharon lives and works in Telford, Shropshire.
