Sophy MacKeith

Both baroque and garish, my work treads a fine line between function and frippery, inspired by early slipware, folk art, and the contents of my local cakeshop. I like to overloaded with sprigs, stamps, moulded surprises and extrusions from a pastry chef’s piping bag. The result that I’m aiming for is a mouthwatering profusion of colours, textures and reflections.
