My work plays with the perception of three-dimensional ceramic forms through tonal bands and clay arrangements to create illusory spatial effects. By manipulating the surface through removing or restricting information, viewers’ perceptions shift between illusion and reality.

My work explores the concept of illusion and reality, using visual phenomena and physical confusions on the surface to attract viewers.
