Kate Sampson

Based in the woodlands of rural Kent, Kate’s work involves traditional ceramic forms hand painted with intricate designs inspired by the plants and wildlife surrounding her. Pieces are wheel thrown or slab moulded in stoneware before being decorated using fine brushwork, sgraffito, wax resist, and an array of glazes.
