Jo Davies

My work is made from porcelain and all wheel-thrown with many of the inherent qualities that this process invites but in combination with my strong interest in the tactility and ergonomic qualities of usable objects. My work is usually monochromatic, occasionally with a surface design unique to the object it decorates, but always concerned with hidden design concerns like weight and how an object can be handled most comfortably.
My studio is based in Herefordshire with a Teaching Studio in East London.
