Ursula Waechter

Ursula Waechter makes functional and decorative earthenware pottery. Thrown on the wheel with red clay, the pots are dipped in tin-glaze which provides the white background for the painting done with calligraphic brushes and oxide mixtures.

Over the years she has been drawn to brighter colours and she continues to explore brush-work skills for new designs.
