Deborah Marock

I’ve been working with clay since my childhood in Cape Town; learning alongside my mother, who was my first teacher. Inspired by textures and colors in nature, such as the movement of water and rock surfaces, my pieces are wheel thrown using stoneware clay and altered to create the ultimate forms.
