Slab built vessels that have a painterly surfaces that are achieved with a mixed media approach to ceramic materials. Layers of engobe, slip and underglaze are creatively combined with other mark making techniques to evoke a feeling of place and landscape. I live and work in Cornwall and the natural landscape with its historic human interventions continues to feed me with inspiration.
